YYC Pizza Fest celebrates 10 years supporting Meals on Wheels
Get ready, Calgary! Now in its 10th year, YYC Pizza Fest is back with over 35 participating restaurants and tastier than ever, kicking off this Friday, September 20th, and running until October 6th. This much-anticipated event brings together local eateries, passionate foodies, and an even greater cause: supporting Calgary Meals on Wheels.
Participating restaurants will craft one-of-a-kind pizzas exclusively for the festival. Every time you purchase one of these special pies, $1-$4 from each pizza will be donated to Calgary Meals on Wheels, helping to provide nutritious meals to those in need. Throughout the festival, diners can vote online for their favorite pizzas in various categories, such as Top Rated, Most Popular, Most Innovative and the Baker Award for best crust! Prizes will be awarded to the top-ranking vendors, with bragging rights on the line!
