Carrot and Apple Juice to Kickstart the New Year

New year, new resolutions. A healthier way of life seems to be on everyone’s list. If getting your fill of vitamins and nutrients in your diet is your goal, juicing might be just the thing to help. It allows you to consume more fruits and vegetables, in turn increasing the amount of nutrients absorbed by the body.

Carrot and Apple Juice

With so many options in vegetables and fruits out there, it is easy to choose what you like and make something delicious. This juice has carrots for beta carotene and vitamin A, vitamin C and potassium, apples for a little sweetness and loads of antioxidants, tomatoes for fibre and ginger for that little kick. Toss everything in a juicer, mix and serve with or without ice.

Ingredients

  • 4 large carrots
  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 inch piece of ginger

Instructions

  • Throw all the ingredients into a juicer.
  • Follow the instructions of your juicer model.
  • Mix together and add ice.
