New series explores Alberta food
Join Lisa Nguyen as she puts together a perfect meal from three unique restaurants in Calgary, Alberta.
One Perfect Meal premiers tonight, October 27 on Travel Alberta’s Youtube channel. This series showcases the incredible food scene and culinary innovators that we have in Alberta, with the first season focusing on Calgary.
For Lisa’s first course (first episode), she indulges in some of Calgary’s best Indian food – bison biriyani, macher kalia and kati rolls – from Calgary’s top Indian restaurant, Calcutta Cricket Club. For her second course (second episode), she’s treated to an incredible Omakase Sushi experience with celebrity Chef Darren MacLean at Nupo, one of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Calgary. And for Lisa’s third and final course (third episode), she experiences some stellar shareables – tomatoes, Gochujang Cauliflower and Butterscotch Pudding (maybe the best dessert in Calgary) – at Ten Foot Henry, another of Alberta’s top restaurants.
