Wild Rose Brewery and Winnipeg Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey recently announced the return of Sunday Fuzz, a seasonal brew for a cause. The partnership between Wild Rose and Calgary-native Morrissey began in 2021 and is aimed at raising awareness and promoting positivity around mental health.

The amplification of mental health challenges experienced by individuals during the pandemic prompted Morrissey to act by launching his foundation and its inaugural partnership with Wild Rose last summer. The partnership continues this year to raise much-needed funds while also generating awareness for mental health issues and dismantling harmful narratives.

“Wild Rose is proud to once again be joining forces with Josh Morrissey and the Glass Half Full Foundation to support mental wellness in our community and give back to a cause that is close to our hearts,” says Candace Potter, brand manager, Wild Rose Brewery. “It is our hope that together we can make a difference in the lives and wellbeing of our fellow Albertans, both through the funds raised by this campaign and through the joy and levity of Sunday Fuzz itself.”

Sunday Fuzz is available for purchase online, in-store at retailers across Alberta and at the Wild Rose Taproom. The peach-flavoured Hefeweizen is a fruit-forward German wheat beer filled with real peach puree that offers a strong stone fruit aroma, with a tart edge and finish courtesy of a hint of apricot puree.

Sunday Fuzz beer will be available until fall 2022, or while quantities last. For more information about Wild Rose Brewery, please visit wildrosebrewery.com.
