More than 85 restaurants set to participate in YYC Food & Drink Experience
Calgary’s annual premier culinary festival, YYC Food & Drink Experience is back celebrating the diverse and delicious food scene in Calgary. From March 15 – 31 over 85 restaurants will offer brunch, lunch and dinner value-priced prix fixe menus. Over a dozen chef-led culinary experiences will take place at the city’s most inspired restaurants, giving Calgarians the opportunity to savour Michelin-starred and award-winning chef-prepared dishes. Downtown Calgary, the premier sponsor of the festival, is eager to celebrate the incredible restaurants Calgary has to offer. There will be over 85 restaurants participating this year, bringing Calgarians and visitors together to experience our city’s dining scene. Many incredible signature culinary events are lined up, like collaboration dinners with visiting chefs, cocktail classes and wine pairing dinners at some of Calgary’s top restaurants. This exciting festival is a great way to try new restaurants and discover new favourites.
Highlights this year include the launch of YYC EXP Dine & Stay. The new program encourages hotel stays by offering a $100 Downtown Calgary Gift Card when booking a room at one of the partner hotels. There’s no better way to take in Calgary’s culinary scene than to book a hotel package and explore some of the prix fixe menus and culinary events offered during YYC EXP. The festival also runs one week longer this year – giving foodies extra time to discover new restaurants and try more menus.
