Charming Squares
Lucky Charms cereal folded into melted marshmallows and butter creates a colourful twist on classic cereal squares, pressed into a pan and cut into soft, chewy bars.
- 4 tbsp salted butter
- 250 g mini marshmallows (white)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 1/2 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- 1 tsp oil (to coat fingers)
Line a 9”×13” baking dish with parchment paper.`
On medium-low heat, melt the butter in a pan.
Add the marshmallows and stir until fully melted. Stir in the vanilla extract.
Remove the pan from the heat, then fold in the Lucky Charms cereal until evenly coated.
Transfer the mixture to the parchment lined dish and gently press it down to flatten. Tip: Lightly coat your fingers with a neutral oil to prevent sticking.
Cool completely (around 1 hour and 30 minutes) then cut into desired pieces.
