Cheese Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • 2 ½ cups cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • parsley

Instructions

  • Microwave the milk for 45 to 60 seconds.
  • Dissolve the yeast in warm milk in a large bowl.
  • Add sugar and yeast and mix well. Then add butter, salt, eggs and flour.
  • Allow the dough to come together with the dough hook of the mixer.
  • Place the ball of dough into a bowl that is sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Cover the bowl with a towel and let rise in a warm place for an hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
  • Once the dough has risen, roll it out into a rectangle.
  • Spread the melted butter on the dough and then sprinkle on the cheese and seasoning.
  • Roll up the dough starting with the longer side and cut into 12 rolls.
  • Place the rolls in a lightly greased pan and let rise for another 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Garnish with dried parsley.
