Gingerbread Spiced Nuts
Sweet, spicy and dangerously addictive, these maple-roasted nuts are tossed in gingerbread spices for the ultimate holiday snack. Perfect for gifting in jars or setting out in bowls for guests to devour.
- 4 cups assorted unsalted nuts (cashews, almonds, pecans, walnuts)
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1.5 tsp sea salt
- 2.5 tsp gingerbread spice mix (recipe below)
Preheat oven to 150 C (300 F.) In a bowl, combine vegetable oil, maple syrup, sea salt and gingerbread spice mix. Add nuts and toss to coat. Spread nuts evenly onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway. Let cool before serving.
