Get ready to embark on an exciting two-wheel food adventure! Cycle from fabulous restaurant to fabulous restaurant tasting healthy fare direct from the imaginations of the area’s top chefs. Your Chef Table Living Food Bike Tour is a fresh air/food experience you won’t soon forget. Reserve your food bike tour spot now!!

2022 Chef Table Living Food Bike Tours starts in Calgary on June 25th, and finish on September 3rd. (Private food bike tours of 8 or more people are available on days that we’re not operating scheduled tours.)

Tour Details

  • One Tour Every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
  • Food from 4 local establishments are included
  • 4 stops: Hutch Cafe → Canela Cafe & Bakery → Peasant Cheese → Donna Mac
  • Usually about a 30-minute ride from each location. Average riding route length is 15 to 25 km, at a casual pace. There’s usually a hill or two. Please feel free to walk your bike up the hill if it seems too steep. We’ll wait for you at the top.
  • Family friendly, ages 12+
  • Can accommodate most allergies (i.e., gluten, dairy, vegetarian) must be noted under Order Details when booking.
  • Meeting start location: Eau Claire Park
  • Bring your own bike (BYOB). Rental options are available from local bike shops in Calgary.
  • 7 day cancelation policy.
  • Limited spots available.

Book your tickets by selecting your desired tour date and corresponding culinary stops. Note any allergies when booking

Check your confirmation email for information on parking, what to bring and where to start tour.

Start your tour make sure to show up 30 minutes before tour begins.

BIKE RENTALS

We have one bike rental option:

Classic Regular mountain Bike ($45) – these bikes are perfect for a pleasant ride.

How it works?

Bike rentals will need to be picked up at and dropped by customer.

Bike Rentals are from Joe’s Garage Bicycle Rental and Repair, opens at 9am and is located on the Bow River Pathway, T2P 1Z6.

The Bike Rental shop is aware of any bike rentals for the Calagry Food bike Tour, you just need to pick up your bike.

Bikes come with a complimentary helmet. Helmets do not have to be worn but we highly recommend you do.

Important** in the Order Details please note your gender, height & weight to match you to a proper bike.

FAQ’S

1. Can allergies be accommodated?

Yes of course! We can accommodate most allergies (i.e., gluten, dairy, vegan, vegetarian, keto, etc.) These allergies MUST be noted when booking and cannot be changed on the day of the tour, as restaurants have everything prepared beforehand.

2. What is the average riding distance?

Average riding distance is about 30 minutes between stops. There’s usually a hill or two. Please feel free to walk your bike up the hill if it seems too steep. We’ll wait for you at the top.

3. Are alcoholic beverages included?

No they are not. This is paid by the customer on the day of the tour.

4. Are you family friendly?

Yes we are! We recommend ages 12+. Anyone under age must be accompanied by an adult.
