This year the Calgary Japanese Festival Omatsuri starts on Friday Night. Both days Omatsuri means festival in Japanese’. The traditional Saturday Festival will be filled with Japanese performances, children’s games, arts and culture, Japanese vendors, and cuisine. Don’t miss the fabulous Sake tasting as well as the beer garden!

We hope that you will join on either or both of the Festival days and support the members of the Japanese Canadian Community as we share our heritage, culture and traditions (new and old).

NOTE:  There is limited parking on site, we encourage all volunteers & guests to use Calgary Transit as the LRT stops right at Max Bell Centre
