The Brown Bagging for Calgary Kids: Gala for Giving
Join us for a night of giving back at our annual Gala for Giving event! This year, we’re coming together at Lone Star Mercedes-Benz to raise funds to provide healthy lunches for Calgary kids in need.
Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids (BB4CK) has been connecting and inspiring people to take meaningful action in feeding and caring for kids for over 30 years.
Currently, over 7,500 lunches are served to kids every school day. Each week, more than 600 volunteers donate their time at the Central Kitchen and nearly 30 BB4CK satellite kitchens across the city, preparing sandwiches, packing fruits and veggies, and baking goodies to care for kids in their communities.
Each lunch costs $4 to make, and BB4CK relies on the generosity of the community to ensure that kids receive the food they need.
As part of the Calgary community, Lone Star is excited to host a fundraising gala to support BB4CK’s mission of providing nutritious lunches to kids.
We hope you can join us for a fun evening while helping us raise funds. Every dollar raised will go directly to Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids.
