Check out these food and beverage events happening in Calgary this month.

Calgary Zoo – Halloween Brunch
Dress up for Halloween and enjoy a delicious brunch at the zoo. Brunch will take place on both October 28th and 29th in the Safari Lodge, with 3 seatings each day. The Halloween-themed brunch will feature a specialty menu, desserts and Halloween music.

Fort Calgary – Creepy Tales and Cocktails
On October 12th and 19th, head on over to Fort Calgary for drinks and hors d’oeurves before heading over to a spooky tour of Inglewood. The tour guides will take you to notably eerie locations around Fort Calgary and into Inglewood, sharing tales of disturbing crimes and ghostly encounters. This event is for ages 18+; tickets are $50.

Heritage Park – Ghosts and Gourmet
Enjoy a spooky supper at the Wainwright Hotel followed by a tour featuring haunted sites at Heritage Park. This event runs on October 19th, 21st, 30th and 31st. Dinner is served at 6:45pm followed by the ghost tour at 8pm.

Heritage Park – Ghost Tea
Begin with a family friendly ghost tour through the park’s haunted sites then enjoy a tea party at the Famous 5 Centre of Canadian Women. Ghost Tea takes place on October 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd, with four seating’s available each day.

Aussie Rules – Boos, Brews and Booze
On October 27th and 28th, enjoy Aussie Rules with a Halloween flair. There will be costume prizes and special Halloween-themed drinks.

Market Wine – Spooky Sips & Sweet Treats
Enjoy a fun tasting pairing Halloween candy, like chocolate and fruit gummies, with wine and whisky. This unique experience will take place on October 28th from 4pm to 5pm for $20.

Rocky Mountain Wine Spirits Beer
On October 28th, from 7pm to 8:30pm, you can take part in a Halloween pairing.  The class will teach you how to enhance your favourite spooky treats by pairing them with wine, beer or cider.
