In this class you will learn how to take your brewing skills to the next level!! Monogram Coffee take a deep dive into extraction theory and learn how to diagnose and adjust your brews using taste cues and a refractometer. They’ll also cover the basics of water chemistry, and will compare coffees brewed with different types of water. Water makes up 98% of brewed filter coffee, so it’s important to understand how water affects your brew! To round out the class, they’ll introduce you to bypass brewing which opens up more methods to maximize and adjust flavour.
