Our first evening dedicated to wine!
Join us for an evening full of wine tasting, food pairings, classical music, activities and best of all…no kids! Wander the zoo with a glass in hand at this twilight event. The zoo transforms into a peaceful escape – perfect for a girls’ night out, or a romantic date. This event will celebrate wine both Canadian and International and will span the entire zoo. Each ticket includes: admission to the zoo, wine tasting, chef attended food stations, classical music, games and education. Corks for Conservation will happen rain or shine – moving indoors with inclement weather. A limited number of VIP tickets are available. Special diets must be requested in advance or they will not be accommodated. Early bird pricing is in effect until July 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. This is an 18+ event.
Here’s what to expect for this WINE–derful night out:
WHEN: Friday, August 12, 2022
TIME: Timed ticket with first entry at 5:00 p.m., last timed entry is from 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Entries will be staggered in 30 minute intervals to provide the best customer experience. Last call will be at 8:30 p.m. and the event ends at 9:00 p.m.
WHAT: Your ticket grants you admission to the zoo (at your timed ticket entry) and wine tasting samples from participating vendors. There will be chef attended food stations, classical music, games and education. Beer, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase from 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. with debit or credit.
VIP EXPERIENCE: Guests with VIP tickets will have access to the VIP area, proudly sponsored by Richmond Hill Wines, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m which includes elevated small bites, premium tastings and live music. VIP ticket holders will also have exclusive access to the Land of Lemurs outdoor walkthrough and the opportunity to meet and talk to Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo Animal Care Technician. A friendly reminder that masks are required while visiting the Land of Lemurs outdoor walkthrough. For animal welfare reasons, mask wear exemptions are not accepted in this space. A friendly reminder that all guests for Corks for Conservation will be ID’d at the gate before entrance as per our AGLC license – everyone will be checked.
