With International Grenache Day on September 20, Calgary Co-op thought there was no better way to celebrate it than with a tasting event centred around this delicious red grape.  Originating in Spain, but grown all over the world (Chateauneuf-du-Pape anyone?), it is very versatile in that the styles of wines range from dry to sweet.  They will explore the various regions making great Grenache in some different styles that you may not have experienced before.  You’ll come out of the event appreciating Grenache even more and, maybe, celebrating it more than once a year.
