Lochlea Distillery Tasting with John Campbell at Kensington Wine Market

If the name John Campbell is familiar to you, that would be because he spent nearly three decades at Laphroaig Distillery on Islay, more than half of that as manager. Lochlea Distillery was operating for nearly 3 years when it existence finally became known in 2021… and they already had spirit old enough to be called whisky! It was founded in 2018, on a 17th Century farm on which Robert Burns lived and worked during his formative years. The distillery produces whisky from its own malt, with plans for both peated and unpeated releases. John Campbell will be your guide as you sample your way through a half dozen Lochlea bottlings!
