If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make the elusive French macarons you’ve come to the right place!

Join us in the Ollia Macarons & Tea kitchen for a 2-2.5 hour evening at our store (810C 16th Ave SW, Calgary) where we learn a little bit about the history of the macaron, how to properly macaronage, tips & tricks for getting the perfect shell, flavour creation, and troubleshooting (8 people max).

Classes Include:

• All materials and ingredients required, including aprons
• Three of our macarons & a tea for you to take home and enjoy
• Your macarons! Approx 25 total (two rotating flavours that are a great base for you to learn how to construct your own flavours from)
• A PDF recipe book

COVID Protocols:

• Masks are required for the duration of the class
• We have a rigorous regular cleaning and sanitization schedule
• HEPA filters will be run before, during, and after class
• A COVID19 health waiver must be filled out by all participants prior to class

Private class:

• Minimum 6 people, maximum 10

• Payment in full required at the time of booking

Cancellation and Date Changes:

Please note that no refunds are offered on classes; if you need to change the date of your class for any reason (including illness, quarantine, etc) we require 72 hours notice. You can book into a new date or take a class credit. If there is less than 72 hours notice, you can transfer your class to someone else, or pay a rescheduling fee of $50 (+ tax) per person (or per class for a private) you’d like to move.

Children: Any children from the age of 12-15 must attend the class with a parent or guardian. Both the child and adult must register for the class.

If a class is cancelled due to new or changing government guidelines your spot will be turned into a class credit that does not expire. You also have the choice to convert the value of your class into store credit.
