Namo Cafe Bistro gets the Guy Fieri treatment
Six months after the “Mayor of Flavortown” rolled into Calgary, Namo Cafe Bistro announce their episode of Guy Fieri’s hit Food Network series Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives officially has an air date.
The episode, titled “Flavorworld,” is scheduled to premiere on Friday, March 13, 2026.
For the team at Namo Cafe Bistro, this milestone is a love letter to the city they call home. Known for its “cheffed-up” menu that blends Asian and Mediterranean influences, Namo has spent years focusing on fresh ingredients and community connection. Being selected for the show is an honour that the staff and ownership attribute largely to the loyal local patrons who have supported them since day one.
Guy Fieri, the Emmy-winning host and restaurateur, has long been a champion of independent “mom-and-pop” joints. During his recent visits, Fieri has frequently praised Calgary as a “food Mecca,” noting that the city’s culinary diversity and Western hospitality make it a standout destination on the international food map.
