Ricardo’s Hideaway, 17th Avenue’s popular rum bar, is once again inviting Calgarians to celebrate the holiday season with Sippin’ Santa: a festive pop-up offering extravagant Christmas-themed cocktails in an elaborately decorated tropical setting!

From November 18 to December 31, guests are encouraged to embrace the over-the-top holiday spirit while enjoying classic Sippin’ Santa cocktails like the Jingle Bird and Merry Spritzmas, as well as new additions such as the Sugar Plum Mai Tai, and A Snowball’s Chance in Hilo — a cocktail made to share! The Ricardo’s Hideaway food menu, which includes fan favourites like the decadent Cheese Empanadas, will be available to order from as usual.

The perfect location for holiday happy hour, Christmas parties or to bring out-of-town visitors, Sippin’ Santa will unveil exciting daily deals throughout the holiday season with its larger-than-life advent calendar. For those looking to don their most festive apparel, on December 10, the pop-up will host an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, part of a worldwide Sippin’ Santa celebration. Lastly, Sippin’ Santa’s iconic glassware will be available for purchase, making it easy to find the perfect gift for cocktail enthusiasts!
