Calgary’s The Dorian Hotel Re-Awarded One Key Designation in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide
The Dorian Hotel, Autograph Collection (The Dorian), Calgary’s first boutique lifestyle hotel, has once again earned a One Key Designation in the esteemed MICHELIN Guide. Like MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, MICHELIN Keys are awarded to outstanding hotels based on detailed evaluations from MICHELIN inspectors.
This marks the second consecutive year The Dorian has received this honour, reinforcing its reputation as one of Canada’s most exceptional hotels. In the 2025 MICHELIN Guide hotel selection, The Dorian stands out once again as the only Calgary property recognized and one of just six hotels in Alberta to achieve this international distinction.
Hotels recognized with MICHELIN Keys are evaluated with specific criteria: Excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service, overall personality and character, value for the price, and a significant contribution to the neighborhood or setting.
Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, the hotel features literary themes woven throughout its design, with a playful mix of Victorian and art deco details in every guest room and common space. Alongside its imaginative interiors, The Dorian is home to celebrated dining destinations, including The Wilde on 27 and Prologue Cafe | Cocktails, which continue to elevate Calgary’s culinary scene.
