Gravity Café
Family-owned Gravity Café recently celebrated 13 years at its original Inglewood location. Founder Andy Fennell says he was inspired to create a European-style cafe that blends coffee, food, live music and community. Since opening his first café, Fennell has expanded to three locations and launched his own coffee line. Gravity stands out for its continuous support of local music, using five per cent of whole-bean coffee sales to pay musicians who play at the café. This brings together the power of great coffee and great music, enriching the local arts scene. Sourced from Central and South America, the café’s beans can be purchased in-store, online and at select Calgary retailers. Gravity’s menu also features a selection of favourites like its famous sweet potato soup, carrot cake and an array of quiche and pie. The café also hosts up to six live shows a week at its Inglewood location. We’ve hosted a bevy of meetings in the Inglewood location over the years and enjoy the laid back, inviting atmosphere. Music lovers will dig the newly created Spotify playlist featuring all the artists who have played in the café. Find a QR code for the list on the back of the 340-gr. coffee bean bags or visit the website for more information.
