Alberta Brewery dominates at Worlds Beer Awards
Village Brewery is proud to announce their victory at the prestigious 2024 World Beer Awards, bringing home not one but two “World’s Best” titles. Village Blacksmith, an Alberta Black Ale, was named the World’s Best in the Brown Ale category, while Village Wit, a White Wheat Ale, took home the top honour in the American Wheat Beer category.
Presented by TheDrinksReport.com, the World Beer Awards are a global celebration of excellence in brewing. Beers are submitted from around the world and judged by country before the top selections compete for the coveted title of “World’s Best” in each style category. Village Brewery’s achievements mark a significant accomplishment, as the only Alberta brewery to win World Awards this year. This year’s accolades follow on the heels of another recent victory, Village Brewery’s Best Run won World’s Best Amber Lager at the 2023 World Beer Awards. As Village Brewery continues to make its mark on the Alberta beer scene, and beyond, these latest honours are a reminder of the brewery’s ongoing commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
