Palomino Smokehouse

The Palomino Smokehouse has been open since 2004 and every year since then they have served over 40,000 kg of brisket. You can partake in several ways at the Palomino – sliced brisket served with pickles and slaw or burnt ends tossed in barbecue sauce, and their sandwiches, the Alberta Cheesesteak and the Palomino Beef Dip, are delicious too.
Hayden Block Smoke and Whiskey

Discover Texas-style BBQ at Hayden Block Smoke and Whiskey. Located in Kensington, brisket by the half pound or in a sandwich is on offer. The meals are perfectly paired with baked beans and deep-fried pickles. Another great way to enjoy their brisket is in the Hot Mess – chunks of beef served up in a baked sweet potato.

Comery Block is a West-Tennessee barbecue and bourbon bar located in the heart of 17th Avenue. Their meats are smoked for 10 to 14 hours daily and can be enjoyed in a couple of ways – like in tacos! And what better way to enjoy brisket than with a cheesy bowl of mac & cheese.

You can find award-winning brisket at Jane Bond BBQ. The tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef is slow cooked and served with Carolina Bee-sting and Bitter Peach BBQ sauces. Big T’s certified Angus beef brisket is marinated for 24 to 48 hours and then smoked for 8 to 12 hours. Try it in their Gutbuster made with sliced brisket, pulled pork, andouille sausage, jalapenos, caramelized onions and mozzarella cheese. Their beef is available by the ¼ pound and can be found at several locations around the city.
