Italian Centre Shop has expanded in Calgary with a new location at Northland Village Mall.
The 22,000-square-foot space brings Italian food and culture together under one roof, from everyday pantry finds to freshly prepared favourites.

Italian Centre Shop has expanded its Calgary footprint with a second location at Northland YYC, but this isn’t simply a larger grocery store. Designed by OCI Architecture, the 22,000-square-foot market features Roman-inspired arches, a soaring barrel-vaulted ceiling and a dramatic “Pantheon of Bread.”
“This store is about more than groceries—it’s about creating a place where people can gather, connect and experience a piece of Italy right here in Calgary,” says Italian Centre Shop President Teresa Spinelli. Alongside the striking design, shoppers will find an artisan bakery, café, tavola calda and full-service deli stocked with imported cheeses, cured meats and Italian pantry staples.
