Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tsp neutral oil
  • 400 g cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder (add more for extra spice)
  • 1/2 tsp coriander

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a wok over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add the mustard seeds and let them sizzle until they pop, and you can smell their aroma, about 1 minute. Be careful not to burn them.
  • Add the cabbage, salt, turmeric, red chili powder and coriander powder. Stir-fry until the cabbage is just tender with a slight crunch and the spices are cooked through, about 3–4 minutes.
