Wok and Co

Eight years after opening Namo Cafe & Bistro on Edmonton Tr., Ashish Damle isn’t slowing down — he’s doubling down. With three Namo locations now running like a well-oiled machine, Damle and his partners, wife Mira Damle and Jinal and Tushar Chodvadiya, have turned their attention to something bolder and more personal. Their new pan-Asian concept, Wok & Co. sits just steps from where it all began, but the energy is entirely its own. Bold, social and deliberately fun, the menu pulls from across the Pacific Rim. Hoisin duck pizza, Malaysian fried chicken and drowning dumplings are some of the dishes built around memory, flavour and the kind of food that demands to be shared. Damle was deliberate about choosing Edmonton Tr. due to its character and a strong food history that Wok & Co. fits naturally into. The menu is inclusive, fairly priced and built for any demographic, while sourcing locally where possible. Filipino, Cambodian and French Polynesian flavours are already being explored as the menu continues to evolve.
