Local Restaurant Group hosts Pride Week Events and Activations
Concorde Entertainment Group is thrilled to announce its many collaborations, events and activations for Pride Week 2024! From August 29 – September 1, 2024, several Concorde Group venues will be serving up a special cocktail with $1 from each drink being donated to Skipping Stone Foundation.
The aptly named cocktail, Project Pride, is a nod to one of Calgary’s first gay and lesbian alliance organizations which helped to produce the first Calgary Pride Festival in 1988. Project Pride will be available at Barbarella Bar, Bridgette Bar Calgary and Canmore, Lulu Bar, Lonely Mouth, Pigeonhole, Model Milk, Major Tom, Surfy Surfy, Ricardo’s Hideaway and Sweet Loretta.
Concorde Group will also participate in the Calgary Pride Parade on Sunday, September 1, 2024, with a float presented in partnership with WERK. The float will feature performances by Tynomi Banks of Canada’s Drag Race and International DJ Josh Harrison of London, UK. Both Concorde Group and WERK invite all Calgarians to visit the parade to show support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

WERK CRUISIN’ at Sweet Loretta

WERK Presents CRUISIN’ — a party dedicated to all the late-night stars and hustlers. Hosted by Justin Mulrain, CRUISIN’ features the return of DJ Pasta & DJ SOB, as well as Ryan McCLure (Austin, TX). This event is free to attend.
WERK NSFW Worship at The Palace Theatre
Friday, August 30, 2024; 9:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
WERK unveils the return of NSFW Worship! Hosted by The Palace Theatre, the event will feature DJs Josh Harrison (London, UK), Ryan McClure (Austin, TX) and Madam Lola (Vancouver, BC). NSFW will keep party-goers partying all night long with go-go dancing performances.
WERK Pride Drag Brunch at National on 8th

WERK’s iconic Pride Drag Brunch is back and bigger than ever! Hosted by Kendall Gender, this 18+ Drag Brunch will feature show-stopping performances by Venus, Aurora Matrix, The Girlfriend Experience, Stephanie Prince, Nearah Nuff, Abeiya Miraj and Hazel, a spread of delicious brunch food and drinks, and a surprise headliner sure to leave the audience members gagging!
WERK Salvation at The Palace Theatre
Saturday, August 31, 2024; 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
WERK dives deep into their fabulous roots to present the Pride Drag Show of the year, Salvation! Hosted by the one and only Lilith Fair with support from dazzling divas Abeiya Miraj and Nada Nuff, this event will feature Queens of Canada’s Drag Race, Canada VS The World, and reigning Queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10, Aquaria!
WERK Eternity at Sweet Loretta
Saturday August 31, 2024; 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m.
WERK’s official after party, Eternity, kicks off just as Salvation ends, with music pumping all night from DJs Josh Harrison (London, UK), Madam Lola (Vancouver, BC) and Jade (Calgary, AB). This event is free to attend.
