After a decade of unforgettable experiences, the Kensington location closes March 31, 2024
It is with the heaviest of hearts that Modern Steak announces it will be closing the doors of their Kensington (107 10A St N.W.) location after 10 years of serving the community with a premium steakhouse experience. Stephen Deere, the Founder and CEO invites beloved patrons for a final dining experience before officially closing on Sunday, March 31. Modern Steak Stephen Avenue (100 8 Avenue S.E) and Southport (10606 Southport Rd SW) locations will continue to welcome guests and provide the elevated steak experience that Modern Steak is renowned for.
“It was a heart wrenching decision as we are at the end of our ten-year lease and the building is being sold by our beloved landlord. We’ve had ten remarkable years in Kensington and this neighbourhood will always hold a special place in our hearts,” says owner Stephen Deere. “We’re incredibly grateful for the loyalty of our customers and we’re dedicated to making these last weeks as memorable as the first. We look forward to welcoming friends old and new to dine with us one last time.”
Modern Steak thanks the patrons of the Kensington location for their loyalty and support over the last 10 years. The sense of community experienced in Kensington has made a lasting impact on everyone who has been a part of the Kensington location. The decision to end service at this location comes with reflections on cherished experiences and the unforgettable relationships the restaurant has built.
