From the Roots: Culture, Community and Environment
For the first time since inception, Terroir brings its educational and community building program to Calgary to explore the vast array of culinary offerings. In partnership with Calgary’s Food Tourism Strategies and Culinary Marketing Strategies, Terroir is open to the public with programming taking place at various venues throughout the city.
Over 400 attendees will take in two days of speakers, workshops, tastings, and adventures highlighting some of Calgary’s best restaurants, chefs, and producers. Public programming takes place at various venues throughout the city. The Central Library hosts the main sessions with speakers from across Canada and the United States including Elizabeth Falkner. Signature dinners at some of Calgary’s best restaurants will showcase culinary talent from across the country in immersive experiences celebrating the story of Alberta. Special lunch workshops for attendees are provided by Deane House and Calgary Zoo/Wilder Institute. Alberta restaurants taking part in Terroir:
