Canmore chefs are going all-in on plant-based this April for the Vegan Chef Challenge.
Try the dishes, vote for your favourites, and see what the city’s kitchens can do without meat on the plate.
The Vegan Chef Challenge starts this April
There’s never been a better time to try vegan — the Vegan Chef Challenge kicks off in Canmore on April 1st. Local chefs will be competing for your ratings and reviews with creative and delicious plant-based menu options. Veganism is on the rise, and you’re invited to see why.
GO! You have one month, from April 1st to April 30th. Go to the Canmore Vegan Chef Challenge website to see the list of participating restaurants and menu items.
EAT! Sample the unique vegan dishes being offered by your favorite local restaurants!
VOTE! Vote for your favorites either at the restaurants or by April 30th on the Canmore Vegan Chef Challenge website.
Kain Tayo, One98eight Restaurant, The Bankhead Restaurant, The Iron Goat Pub & Grill, and Wagashi Tea House have already signed up! The Challenge is seeking more restaurants, cafes, bakeries, delis, ice cream shops, food trucks, catering services, and other food service businesses to join the event. Any business open to new vegan options is welcome to apply.
Winning dishes will be announced in early May. For Challenge updates, please visit https://veganchefchallenge.org/Canmore.
