Knowledgeable guides take you on a leisurely walking tour through the heart of Calgary, pointing out its culinary history, telling stories and highlighting local fare. From crispy ginger beef at the immaculate Hawthorne Dining Room at the Fairmont Palliser to sweet treats at Chocolate Lab and on to pasta and wine at Annabelle’s, you’ll leave with a full belly and a head full of fun Calgary facts. At $159 per person, the tour includes two savoury and two sweet sittings. The easily walked 1.5 km tour will take about 2.5 hours. These tours are available on Saturdays only throughout the spring, summer and fall. It made for a great afternoon date, and we had so much fun eating, learning and talking with other food aficionados.
