City & Country Urban Winery’s non alcoholic wines bring the conversation closer to home, with a Calgary based winery using Okanagan grapes to create bottles with real character.

Zero-proof drinks are one of the fastest-growing adult beverage categories as many of us cut back at least occasionally. Several good no-alcohol white and sparkling wines are on the market but until now, I haven’t found a red wine that I actually liked.

City and Country’s award-winning non-alcoholic red wine has good body and flavour that really resembles a typical red table wine. It’s made from Okanagan grapes, too.

Chris and Karen Fodor started City and Country in 2019 as Calgary’s only urban winery. Clearly, vineyards aren’t common around here, so they source grapes from around the world for their wines, which include still reds, rosés and whites, sparkling and, of course, the no-alcohol line.
