The third annual celebration of collaboration, community, and creativity gets underway this Sunday

Plant, Grow, Share a Row and Highfield Farm are excited to present the third annual Soupalicious Calgary. This fundraiser and harvest celebration will feature an artisan market, tractor rides, games, live music and a line-up of soup-er collaborations from local chefs, farmers and food producers creating steamy sample-sized stews.

These soup-er star collaborators compete in two categories – the First Place Pot, as determined by a panel of expert judges includes City of Calgary’s own Mayor Jyoti Gondek and Sharon Hapton, the Founder of Soup Sisters. The People’s Choice Golden Ladle will be determined by the public. All ticket holders are granted a voting token to help determine which soup reigns supreme.

Come celebrate harvest season! Sample soups, dance to the music, take a tractor ride, compete in a pie eating contest, send the kids on a pumpkin hunt, peruse local artists…all in support of improving food security in Calgary.

Soupalicious is a Canada wide event created by the Compost Council of Canada and aims to support the growing of fresh food for donation to community food access organizations.
