Pecan Sandies
Servings 24 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped plus 24 whole pecans for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Cream the butter and sugars until well combined.
- Add the vanilla and mix until incorporated.
- Add the flour, salt and cinnamon and once the dough starts coming together and pulling away from the bowl, add in the pecans.
- Divide the dough into 24 balls and place on a parchment-lined sheet, spaced apart.
- Press down each ball with the bottom of a glass.
- If you are topping with a pecan, press the nut down on each cookie.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes and enjoy.
