The annual YYC Food and Drink Experience returns with an all-star lineup of chefs, cuisines, beverages and restaurant collaborations for one of the biggest food and drink events of the year.

This highly anticipated event is a food lovers paradise showcasing some of Calgary’s top chefs and restaurants from Friday, March 17 – Sunday, March 26, 2023. Calgarians can dine out for lunch, dinner or a handful of signature collaboration evenings featuring multi-course prix fixe menus.

The ten-day event showcases local and regional talent, culinary personalities, and wine and spirits producers. With over 70 participating locations there is something for everyone and every budget.

Highlights this year include Canadian chef JC Poirier of Vancouver’s Michelin-starred St Lawrence with a Cabane á Sucre celebration at River Cafe on March 17,  Meet the Rancher at Modern Steak on Saturday, March 18, a Northern Italian popup at Bonterra on the 21st, Alex Chen, Iron Chef winner and Gold Medal Plates champion of Vancouver’s Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar at Teatro for a special Clos de la Oyster Barre on Saturday, March 25 and Top Chef Canada winner Tre Sanderson with a closing brunch at Fortuna’s Row on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Calgary is full of talented chefs and these events help put the spotlight on Calgary’s culinary scene.
