Calgary restaurants and markets are serving up festive dine-in and take-out options for 2025, so you can focus on good food, family and a little well-earned downtime.
DINE IN OPTIONS
Spend Oct 12th at the Calgary Zoo, starting at noon, and finish your outing with their four-course Harvest Dinner. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. in the Safari Lodge and includes warm bread with festive inspired compound butter, sweet corn chowder, and an artisan salad with Zoo Grown vegetables. Choose between a Duo of Turkey — herb roasted turkey breast and turkey thigh galantine with sage bread stuffing) — with seasonal vegetables, Calvados turkey jus and cranberry and mandarin ginger compote OR a Vegan Harvest Bowl with wild rice pilaf, baby squash, yam, Brussels sprouts, and a Dijon maple dressing. End on a sweet note with pumpkin cheese cake or coconut chocolate cake (vegan). $70 for adults, $65 for seniors, $35 for children 3-15.
Celebrate Thanksgiving with dinner at The Selkirk on October 12th and 13th from 5pm to 9pm. Guests can choose from a three-course meal for $55 per person or four courses for $64 per person with the option to add on wine pairings for $30. The Maple-Glazed Free-Range Turkey Dinner includes a rosemary-brined turkey breast, maple-glazed thigh roulade, apricot and sage stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, gravy and cranberry sauce.
Enjoy a three-course dinner at Deerfoot Inn & Casino for $52.95 per person on October 12th from 4:30pm to 9pm. Dinner starts with roasted butternut squash soup or baby romaine salad, followed by a choice of either oven roasted turkey or Alberta prime rib, and ending with tart Tatin or classic pumpkin pie.
Thanksgiving at River Café will be celebrated all day on Monday, October 13. Enjoy a festive brunch from 11am to 4pm with turkey eggs benedict and Okanagan apple mimosas. A family-style feast will be served from 5pm featuring Winter’s Farm free-range turkey with traditional sides. The price is $75 per person, $40 per child.

Thanksgiving at “The Ship” will be celebrated in-house on Oct. 12 and 13, or pre-order a “Take & Bake” meal to reheat at home. Turkey dinner is $22, vegetable pie $17 and pumpkin pie $8 per slice or $20 whole. Pre-order by Oct. 10 for pick-up on Oct. 12.
TAKE OUT OPTIONS
Pick up your Thanksgiving Feast from Sunterra to enjoy at home. All meals come with Roasted Squash and Pumpkin Soup, Seven Grain Salad, Creamy Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Fall Vegetables and cranberry sauce. Choose your entrée of herb-rubbed turkey, Sunterra Meats ham, rotisserie prime rib or vegetable wellington. Prices range from $29.99 to $38.99 per person.
The Vin Room has a Thanksgiving Dinner for 2 to enjoy at home for $75. Dinner includes a roasted turkey (white and dark meat), creamy mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and fried brussels sprouts, with traditional stuffing, house made gravy and cranberry sauce. End on a sweet note with house made carrot cake for dessert along with a beverage. Pick up from Vin Room West or Vin Room Mission.
Flores and Pine offers a chef-crafted Thanksgiving Meal Kit which serves 4 (from for $200). The kit includes a brined turkey breast, glazed rosemary ham, roasted brussels sprouts, honey and herb-glazed carrots, brown butter mashed potatoes, smoked bacon stuffing, rosemary focaccia, traditional gravy and cranberry sauce and pumpkin panna cotta with brown butter streusel.
Relax this year and order turkey and all the trimmings to go from the Hawthorn Dining Room. The meal includes turkey or ham, sourdough bread and butter, greens and frisée salad with an orange vinaigrette, cranberry sauce, sage pan gravy, rosemary and garlic roasted potatoes, maple roasted vegetables, sage and onion stuffing and a pumpkin tart. You can order a small 3-5 kg turkey for $367 which serves 4, medium 7-9 kg turkey for $567 which serves 8 or a large 9-11 kg turkey for $857 which serves 15. The bone in 6-7kg ham serves 8 for $630.
Order dinner for 4 to 6 people from Blue Flame Kitchen for $325. Dinner includes a ready to roast turkey breast with fresh herbs, confit turkey leg and thigh, maple ginger roasted carrots and herb pearl onions, roasted rutabaga and apples, sage stuffing with roasted garlic, traditional gravy, brown butter mashed potatoes, spiced orange cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.
