Alberta’s smallest chef has a new kitchen and an even bigger story to tell.
Le Petit Chef and Family brings an all-new immersive dining experience to the top floor of Element Calgary Downtown this spring.
Le Petit Chef sets a new table at the Element Hotel
The Element by Westin Calgary Downtown (the Element Hotel) is launching the unique dining experience Le Petit Chef & Family. While the World’s Smallest Chef used to work out of the stylish Dorian hotel, he has moved to a hotel with more spacious suites to accommodate his growing family. Beginning April 23, Le Petit Chef brings an all-new show with him to the top floor of the Element hotel.
More than a meal, Le Petit Chef is an immersive dining experience combining 3D animation with a multi-course menu. The experience continues to innovate with new storylines like Le Petit Chef & Family, where diners are taken on a whimsical journey through the four seasons as the tiny culinary maestro and his family come to life directly on the table. Each course unfolds with a heartwarming narrative and a seasonal menu item, such as a pea soup for spring, a fresh king crab farfalle for summer, beef and root vegetables for autumn, and a delightfully decadent marshmallow dessert for winter. Vegetarian and children’s versions of the menu are available.
Originating in Germany and now featured at 126 locations worldwide, Le Petit Chef has delighted diners of all ages since its launch in 2015. Previously hosted at the Element’s sister property, The Dorian, Le Petit Chef now calls the Element home, making it the only hotel in Calgary to offer the experience.
Le Petit Chef & Family will run Thursday through Sunday evenings in Element’s 12th Floor Riverwalk Room. Tickets are priced at $129 for adults and $69 for children ages 5-12. Reservations are expected to fill quickly, as the show is limited to 42 diners per seating.
