Located in Inglewood, Madisons 12|12 (Madi’s) is well known for their craft nachos and their poke. They have a great selection of drinks, too. Their hot chocolate is made with chocolate syrup, steamed milk and whipped cream, and you can choose either a shot of Bailey’s or a shot of Frangelico.

Cabin Brewing Company
Cabin Brewing Company is a craft brewery right here in Calgary. While they may not have a boozy hot chocolate in the traditional sense, they do serve a Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout. The Fuego pours thick and black with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa and a trio of chilis – sweet ancho, tangy guajillo and smoky chipotle.

Red’s Diner
Red Diner has a couple of boozy drinks that are perfect for keeping warm. Their Cabo Coffee is made with Kahlua, Baileys and whipped cream while their Café Beautiful is made with Grand Marnier, brandy and whipped cream. Perfect accompaniments to a hearty breakfast, especially on a chilly morning.

With two locations in the city, Cinnamon Indian Cuisine & Bar has some incredible Indian dishes and a lunch buffet that’s worth checking out. They also offer an extensive cocktail list which includes a warm and soothing Hot Toddy made with brandy, honey and hot water.

Calcutta Cricket Club ups the ante with a spirited version with their Boozy Chai with Spiced rum and Galliano.  Galliano, an Italian liqueur flavoured with vanilla and herbs and spices, pairs wonderfully with the chai.
